1930s Eegee Miss Charming 28" Composition Doll $599 + $20 shipping (Please email for availability) Code: EGMC Click on images to enlarge
This adorable
toddler was made by Eegee in the 1930's and is marked E.G. on the back of each
of her legs. She is called Miss Charming (and you can see why after seeing how
"charming" she is), and was competition for the Shirley Temple doll.
She is a whopping 28" tall, and is a big girl. Please click on each image
for a larger view.
She has a
composition head, shoulder plate, arms and legs. Her head moves, and she is
posable. Her composition is in great shape, with some very minor surface
crazing and tiny cracks, which do not detract from her beauty. She has minor
wear paint rubs. She has all of her fingers and toes. She has upper teeth and
and rosy lips. She has a firmly stuffed cloth body in good condition. Her
brown tin eyes have very full lashes and open and close.
She has a human
hair long wig which is full and in very nice condition.
She is wearing a
replacement dress, slip and bloomers. The dress was fashioned after a doll
from a 1930s Christmas toy catalog. She has replaced shoes and socks.
